Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026

By using the Sentinel app ("the Service"), you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

1. Service description

Sentinel is a "dead man's switch" service: if you do not confirm your presence ("check-in") within the delays you configured, the Service automatically forwards the prepared messages and documents to the recipients you designated.

Delivery is made by email and, optionally, via Telegram (a free channel you can enable for yourself and/or for a recipient). You choose the file delivery mode (secure link, encrypted ZIP archive, or attachments). Optional safety features are available (grace period, escalating reminders, holiday mode, "two-person rule").

2. Service provided "as is"

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that emails will be delivered on time or without being marked as spam. Delivery depends on third parties beyond our control.

3. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher shall not be liable for any damage resulting from a dispatch that is not sent, late, incomplete or erroneous; an accidental trigger; data loss; unauthorized access; or Service unavailability. Sentinel does not replace any official legal, medical or safety arrangement.

4. User responsibilities

5. Personal data

The processing of your data is described in our privacy policy.

6. Changes and termination

We may evolve the Service and these terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
